Low profile aluminum air bearing kit

Low profile aluminum modules have the distinct advantage of being able to slide under machinery or loads with very little clearance height, thus making machinery moving very easy. Profile heights are between 1 and 1½ inches depending on the type of bearing on board. They are fast becoming the equipment of choice for machinery (machine) moving equipment in industry today.

These low profile aluminum caster modules are fitted with the B-type air bearing which offers a vertical lift capability as well as the tremendous lifting power to sustain lateral movements across your floor surface.

Coupled with their vertical lift properties, these modules offer the perfect solution for the application that requires a certain amount of vertical lift before moving the load off to its destination.

These low profile modules are particularly popular as rigging equipment because of their lightweight and easy portability. Thy are lightweight and can handle heavy machinery moving – loads up to 100 tons –  with ease.

The profile height of these aluminum module range from 1¼” when fitted with 12-inch air bearings to just 2″ for the largest modules with 48-inch bearings.

Air supply is regular compressed air delivering a constant 80 psi.

The vertical lift data indicates the approximate additional height to which the module will rise when energized with compressed air.

For example: A low profile aluminum module with B12N air bearing on board will have an “Air Off” height of 1¼” but when the bearing is energized with compressed air, it will rise in height to 2″
